Tokyo has one major international airport, Narita, which is 64 km from central Tokyo, and a domestic airport, Haneda, just 8 km from Tokyo city center. Tokyo also has an excellent intra-metropolitan transport system, with subway and surface/elevated rail services, the best means of getting around the metropolitan area. A limousine-bus service from the airports to all major hotels and sub-centers within the city is available as well.
There are several ways to reach the congress venue, Hotel East 21 Tokyo. The following are recommended.

Take the JR express train from Narita Airport station to Funabashi station. Then transfer to JR Sobu line and go to Nishi-Funabashi station. From Nishi-Funabashi station, take Metro-subway Tozai line to Toyocho station. From there, it is a short walk to the hotel.

From Tokyo (Hotel East 21 Tokyo) to Kyoto and Nagoya
Take 200 km speed bullet train Shinkansen from Tokyo Station to Kyoto Station. You can enjoy comfortable 2 hours ride (JPY13,720 using "Nozomi"). Also the train runs from Kyoto to Nagoya. 30 minutes ride using "Nozomi" Shinkansen (JPY 5,840). We suggest to use Nagoya CENTRAIR Airport or Kansai Airport for return flight.
