Travel Grant
The Organizing Committee invites applications for the WC6 Young Scientist Travel Grants which have been generously donated by several sponsors. The registration fee for grant recipients is also supported by the Organizing Committee. The amount of grant varies by region as follows:
US and EU ¥200,000 (per person)
Asia ¥100,000 (per person)
Japan ¥50,000 (per person)
Applicants should indicate their interest on the Abstract Form and submit the abstract with necessary documents (a curriculum vitae and a certification of date of birth; see below) via the website by March 31, 2007.
[Eligibility]
•The applicant should be under the age of 35 as of August 20, 2007.
•The applicant should submit the abstract as the first author and should be the presenter.
•The applicant should submit curriculum vitae and a certification of date of birth (a copy of passport or driver's license, etc.)
[Selection Procedure]
•The International Committee and Scientific Committee will select as many as grantees from applicants as financial conditions allow.
•The Organizing Committee will notify all applicants of the results by May 31, 2007.
Young Scientist Award
Young scientists presenting the best contributed papers will be awarded a cash grant and a certificate.
The applicant should be under the age of 35 as of August 20, 2007.
