Dear Colleagues and Friends,
Please join us at the satellite meeting of the 2007 WC6 August
20 (Monday) in the beautiful city of Seoul. The weather in
Seoul City in August is normally hot (30°C) and windy. The
Korean Society for Alternatives to Animal Experiments was
established in 2006. We have about one hundred members.
After the satellite meeting in Korea, you can go to Japan, a
journey of two or three hours. We hope that the 2007 WC6
satellite meeting will warm our hearts and help saveanimals.
Remember that we have only recently started the search for
alternatives, but already have many interesting ones. We
cordially invite you and join us at the Seoul meeting.

Dear Colleagues,
Geographically located around the center of main island of Japan, Nagoya has been a cultural crossroads since ancient
times. Nagoya has outstanding features both in historical and modern aspects. Back in 16 century three Samurai heroes (Oda,
Toyotomi, Tokugawa) were all born in and out of Nagoya. At present, the city enjoys the prosperity as a center of various
industries with the population of 2.20 million, making it the 4th largest city in Japan. In the Nagoya-Forum, international
aspects of alternative are to be addressed in relation to the alternatives on the international scene, metrics in alternative,
and new scientific, technological alternative approaches for preclinical animal experiments.
