From Overseas to Sapporo
New Chitose Airport (CTS), located approximately 35 km from the conference, has direct international flights connected to Seoul, Busan, Beijing, Shanghai, Taipei, Hong Kong, Bangkok, Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk, Guam and Honolulu.

Some flights from Asia travel directly to New Chitose Airport.
The airport is about 40km(25 mi) southeast of the city center of Sapporo (45km on rail from the Airport station to Sapporo Station).
Train
You can go to the venue by using Japan Railways (JR) train from New Chitose/Sapporo Airport Station to JR Sapporo Station.

The New Chitose Airport Station is located on the underground level of the airport terminal.
Please take "Rapid Airport" train destined for any of Sapporo, Otaru or Asahikawa, all of which stop at JR Sapporo Station (36min, 1070JPY).
After you reached JR Sapporo Station, you can go to Hokkaido University Conference Hall on foot (approx. 5min.).
