Paper Submission

Prospective authors can submit proposals for full oral presentation (20-25 minutes including discussion), short oral presentation (10-15 minutes), or poster presentation. We will start to receive your paper on September 1, 2013. Deadline for paper submission is December 15, 2013. postoponed until January 10, 2014.

Proposals should be mailed to the conference secretariat. In the text of submission e-mail, please indicate which Specialist Group (Particle Separation or Nano & Water) you prefer to have review your proposals. Also, please indicate which style of presentation (full oral, short oral or poster) you prefer.

Paper Submission     Template

For full oral presentations

Proposals should be in the form of a full paper, limited to eight A-4 size pages (including figures and tables). Submission in the form of an extended abstract (see the guidance for short presentations and posters shown below) will also be accepted for full oral presentations, but evaluation may be lowered in the selection of papers. If your extended abstract is selected for full oral presentation, you must submit a full paper by March 31, 2014.

Use of the template is encouraged in preparation of a full paper. The full paper must include the following information to allow a sound referee review:

Paper title
All author’s and co-author’s names and affiliations
E-mail address, postal address, telephone/fax number and corresponding author
Abstract of the project (less than 150 words)
Full paper

Note: after the conference, selected papers will be recommended for reviewing in Water Science & Technology. Selection will be made from full oral presentations. Therefore, if you wish to have your paper published in Water Science & Technology, you need to submit your paper for full oral presentation. If you do not wish to have your paper published in Water Science & Technology, you can indicate it in the submission e-mail.

For short oral presentations and posters

Proposals should be in the form of an extended abstract, limited to two A-4 size pages (including figures and tables). Use of the template is also encouraged for these types of presentations. The outline paper must include the following information to allow a sound referee review:

Paper title
All author’s and co-author’s names and affiliations
E-mail address, postal address, telephone/fax number and corresponding author
Outline of your project

Excellent student poster awards

Excellent student poster awards, sponsored by Kurita Water and Environment Foundation, will be given to several students presenting posters in the conference. Please indicate your interest in the submission e-mail if you wish to be a candidate for the award. You should not miss the chance to get 30,000 Japanese Yen (~300 Euro)!
