Costs included in the tour fee
  • The tour fee includes the accommodation fee, and the fee for meals (when purchasing a plan that includes meals)

The following costs are not included in the tour fee, and separate payment will be required.

  • Personal expenses: fees for meals and drinks (other than the meals included in the plan), dry cleaning fees, telephone fees etc.
  • Medical expenses related to injury or illness
  • Travel insurance purchased at the discretion of the participant
  • Travel between the venue and the hotel

Cancellation fee
■Fee for canceling participation
To change or delete your registered details, please access “My Page”. In order to avoid issues caused by miscommunication over the telephone, we cannot accept requests for changes or deletions over the telephone.
Please note that cancellation will attract the following charges.
Cancellation between the 20th day prior to the tour (or 10th day prior to the tour in the case of day trips) and the 8th day prior to the tour today, counting back from the day prior to the tour. 20% of the tour fee
Cancellation between the 7th day prior to the tour and the 2nd day prior to the tour today, counting back from the day prior to the tour. 30% of the tour fee
The day prior to the tour 40% of the tour fee
Cancellation on the day the tour begins (before the tour start time) 50% of the tour fee
Cancellation after the tour has begun / failure to either participate or contact KNT to request cancellation 100% of the tour fee

Please note that the periods described in the explanation of fees for cancelled accommodation are calculated with reference to the first scheduled night of accommodation. Participants canceling their tour after the tour has begun will be required to pay a 100% cancellation fee for the entire cost of the tour as booked, including any second and subsequent nights.

Participants who neither arrive at nor contact their booked accommodation prior to 18:00 on the day of their stay will be treated as a no show and their accommodation may be cancelled. (In such cases, the fees for the tour will not be returned to the payee).

◆Application method◆

 

【STEP1】
  • To apply to join the tour, enter the necessary details into the application form (be sure also to enter the details of the guardian accompanying the competition entrant), and then submit the form.
  • Applications will be processed in the order in which they are received.
  • Participants will not be accepted on the tour if the information provided includes only the name of the accompanying parent/guardian. The applications must also include the parent/guardian’s name, gender, age, address, and contact details.
  • We also ask for your understanding that we do not accept applications by telephone.
  • The maximum number of individuals that can be included in a simple application is x individuals. However, this requires that all applicants share the same application details (and are applying to stay in the same type of room).
  • Individuals aged below 15 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian. Individuals aged below 18 can only participate with the written consent of the individual with legal parental responsibility for the child. Please print out the consent form (PDF) and send it to us by fax.
  • Even if the tour is sold out, places may go on sale again at a later date if a previous participant has canceled.

The official application to participate in the tour is complete upon the completion of the credit card payment.

【Customers who wish to pay via bank transfer】
Please select the bank transfer option from the payment options screen. We ask that you initiate the bank transfer within five days of the receipt of your application.
The official application to participate in the tour is complete upon the receipt of the transferred funds.
If the funds are not transferred within the required time period, the application will be canceled. We ask that the cost of the bank transfer be borne by the payee.

【STEP3】
A document entitled “guidance for the day of departure” (which includes the meeting time and meeting place for the tour) will be emailed to the participants’ representatives and published online between five and three days prior to tour departure.
