2024 Annual Meeting of the Phytopathological Society of Japan
We are pleased to announce that 2024 Annual Meeting of the Phytopathological Society of Japan (PSJ) will be held on Mar.13-15, 2024 in Sendai (Sendai International Center). The meeting will beheld in a face-to-face format, but it will also be held as a hybrid format with live-streaming at all rooms and some online presentations.
We sincerely look forward to your participation.

Modification of your information and payment for the fee is available on the My page. And only a PPSJ member can make an abstract submission for presentation.

Online Participation
- Viewing (Zoom) is available at all rooms and all presentations, but questions are not allowed
- If you wish to participate online, regardless of whether or not your presentation is online, an additional online fee of 1,000JPY is required in addition to the conference registration fee.
- If you are unable to view or present online due to system trouble, the registration fee and online add-on fee will not be refunded.
- Zoom URL will be emailed to online registrants.

Convenience store payment is available only for residents in Japan.
To qualify early bird fee, payment should be done by January 9. And each presenter should complete registration fee payment by January 9.
Oral Presentation
Any PSJ member in good standing for 2024 membership may orally present a paper during the meeting. Registration instructions can be found below.
If you are not a current PSJ member but want to speak in oral presentation sessions, please complete membership registration for 2024 prior to register this meeting.

Online Presentation
- Online presentations will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis for up to 15 presentations, and only those who are available to present on March 14 (9:00-12:00, JST) will be accepted (Room 1 will be the online venue without dividing the research areas).
- If you wish to present your presentation online, please submit your presentation via Google form prior to the registration. Online presentations will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.

Abstract Submission
For presentation at PPSJ2024, send an abstract, and complete registration fee payment via the online registration system by 17:00 (JST), Tuesday, January 9, 2024.
Abstract submission is available at My Page, after completion of PPSJ2024 registration.
Please be sure that modification after the deadline is not available.

The abstract’s title and body should be less than 130 and 900 characters, INCLUDING space, respectively.

Break room and Prayer rooms
Shirakashi conference room 2 on the 3rd floor of the Sendai International Center can be used as a break room. Prayer rooms will be set up on the 2nd floor in Waiting room 3 (for men) and Waiting room 4 (for women)(March 13,12:00-17:00; March 14,12:00-17:00; March 14,12:00-13:30).
