- Chikurin-ji Temple(No.31)
Chikurin-ji Temple is located on Mt. Godai in Kochi City and is the 31st temple on the Shikoku 88 Temple Pilgrimage. Founded in the 8th century, the temple houses various cultural treasures, including a five-story pagoda and important Buddhist statues. The temple grounds also feature a tranquil garden, providing a peaceful atmosphere for visitors seeking spiritual exploration or a sense of history. There are also options to experience Japanese cultural practices such as meditation and sutra copying in a calm environment, though reservations are required for these activities.

- Okubo-ji Temple(No.88)
Ōkuboji Temple is the final stop (the 88th temple) of the Shikoku Pilgrimage and is closely linked to Kōbō Daishi (Kūkai). Pilgrims complete their journey here, marking the end of their pilgrimage. Situated about 400 meters above sea level, the temple offers beautiful views of Shikoku’s nature. Pilgrims can also receive a special “Certificate of Completion” (Kechigan-shō) as a symbol of their achievement. Nearby, there are restaurants offering Sanuki udon, making it a popular destination for both pilgrims and tourists.

- Yashima-ji Temple(No.84)
Yashima-ji Temple, the 84th temple on the Shikoku 88 Temple Pilgrimage, is historically significant due to its connection to the Battle of Yashima in the Genpei War. The temple is also known for the legend of Tasaburo Tanuki, a wise guardian spirit. Located at the summit of Yashima Mountain, about 300 meters high, it offers stunning views of the Seto Inland Sea and Takamatsu City, making it a unique destination for pilgrims and tourists.
