8th Pacific Basin Conference on Adsorption Science and Technology

Dear Participants of PBAST-8

We hope that all of you have safely returned home. We are terribly sorry that we had to cancel all PBAST-8 events which were scheduled on Sept, 6, due to the earthquake. As the Conference Excursion was cancelled, we will refund the fee (10,000 JPY) to all participants who registered as General Participants or Accompanying Persons, and to those who registered as a Student, and paid the extra Excursion Fee. We are planning to start reimbursements as soon as possible, but as our Conference Secretariat was simultaneously managing many conferences when the earthquake hit Sapporo, they have to deal with many similar cases so it might take some time for them to complete all reimbursements. Refunds will be basically made through the account of the credit card which was used for registration.

Invitation

The organizing committee cordially invites you to participate in the 8th Pacific Basin Conference on Adsorption Science and Technology (PBAST) which will be held from September 3 - September 6, 2018 at the Frontier Research in Applied Sciences Building, Hokkaido University, Sapporo, Japan. The aim of this conference is to provide a platform so that researchers who are involved in the field of adsorption science and technology, especially those from the Pacific Rim, can freely discuss and exchange ideas. Students are also welcomed, and we hope that this conference will motivate them to continue research in fields related to adsorption.
